Privacy Policy — Pullseye

Effective 22 August 2026.

Short version: the camera identifies cards, confirmed scans help the scanner get better, and nothing about you is sold, shared, or tracked. The long version is below, and it describes what the code actually does.

What we collect

Card photos. When you scan, the photo is sent to our server to identify the card. If you confirm the answer, we keep that photo along with the card it turned out to be — that pair is how recognition improves for everyone. Photos from scans you do not confirm are working files and are not kept as training data.

A binder. The cards you add, their printings, conditions, and who in your family added them.

How the app is doing. When a scan happens, whether it worked, how long it took, and which card was involved. This is recorded on our own server against a random account number. It is how we find the cards the scanner keeps missing.

Your purchase. Whether you have bought the one-time unlock, and when.

What we do not collect

No name, no email, no phone number, no address. The app never asks for any of them. Your binder's title is a nickname stored on your own device — it is not attached to your account.

No tracking. No advertising networks, no third-party analytics, no data brokers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking. There is no advertising SDK in this app.

No location, contacts, health, or financial data. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your card details.

Nothing is sold or shared. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

The camera

The camera is used to identify cards and, if you confirm a scan, to improve recognition for everyone. Nothing else. It is never used in the background, and the app does not read your photo library unless you pick a photo yourself.

How long we keep things

Your binder stays until you delete it. Prices are refreshed daily.

Confirmed scan photos are kept indefinitely, because they are what stops the scanner getting worse over time. They are photographs of trading cards, not of people.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, at any time. It removes your binder, your account, and every device linked to it.

Confirmed scan photos are kept, with nothing linking them to you — the tag connecting them to your account is erased. We keep the picture of the card and the answer, and lose the fact that it came from you. The app tells you this on the confirmation screen before you delete.

Getting your data out

Export your whole collection as a spreadsheet from inside the app, any time, without asking us.

Children

Pullseye is built for collectors of any age, and families share one collection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — because we do not collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes and the app will tell you.
